Job summary

Fried Frank & Partners in New York seeks a Knowledge & Innovation Counsel for Finance & Capital Markets to drive innovation, deploy legal tech, and design efficient knowledge systems. You will train teams, advise on data considerations, and shape technology messaging for clients.

The role requires at least five years in finance/capital markets law, strong leadership, and experience with AI tools and knowledge management. NY-based, with a focus on delivering value through innovation.

Qualifications

D.-qualified with at least five years in finance or capital markets law.
Experience in legal technology evaluation and AI deployment.
Strong knowledge of finance or capital markets documents and transactions.
Ability to advise on client restrictions and data considerations.

Responsibilities

Advise on AI and innovation for Finance & Capital Markets and coordinate with stakeholders; evaluate, pilot, procure, and deploy modern practice solutions.
Design and supervise the knowledge architecture for the practice group and support the Research & Intelligence team.
Lead trainings on AI tools and communicate developments to attorneys and clients.
Collaborate to identify and build practice solutions, including document automation and client-facing apps.
Develop guidelines and taxonomies for document management to ensure consistency and compliance.
Track AI/legal tech developments and share insights with firm leadership.
