Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Finance BI Manager to lead a team of developers and analysts responsible for designing, building, and governing reporting, analytics, and automation solutions across Finance and the business. The role sets development standards, governance practices, and drives a coordinated roadmap with Finance leadership.

You will oversee Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate deliverables, ensuring quality, security, and reliability of the Finance BI portfolio while coaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, required.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Application Development.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing a technical team.
• Experience with Finance data preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts, including performance management.
• Escalation point for complex Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate issues.
• Own architecture, standards, and governance for the Finance BI team.
• Translate priorities into a team roadmap and resourcing plan.
• Review and approve reports, models, and documentation before deployment.
• Ensure end-user training for reports.
• Manage workspace, permissions, row-level security.
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT to secure data and infrastructure.
