BDO USA is seeking a results-driven BI Manager to lead the Finance BI team, guiding reporting, analytics, and automation initiatives that influence financial decisions across the business. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with strong BI experience.
• 5+ years in Data Analytics/BI or Application Development.
• 2+ years leading a technical team.
• Finance data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts.
• Primary escalation point for Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate issues.
• Owns Finance BI architecture, semantic model design standards, data governance practices, and development guidelines.
• Translates strategic priorities into a prioritized team roadmap and resourcing plan.
• Reviews and approves Power BI reports, semantic models, DAX measures, data transformations and documentation before deployment.
• Ensures reports have up-to-date training available for end-users.
• Oversees workspace management, permissions, deployment processes, and access controls including Row Level Security.
• Manages relationships with data engineering, IT, and other technical partners to secure data and infrastructure.
• Drives adoption of AI-enabled development practices with privacy, security, and compliance considerations.
• Establishes and monitors standards for version control, testing, documentation, training materials, and peer reviews.
• Communicates status of major initiatives, risks, and resourcing needs to Finance BI leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Maintains accurate results, safeguards sensitive data, and supports trusted business decisions.
• Builds relationships with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure deliverables meet needs.
• Applies branding and design standards for a consistent, professional look across deliverables.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of Power BI and analytics capabilities and evaluates new tools for adoption.
• Supports hiring, onboarding, and training for Finance BI team members.
