Job summary

BDO USA seeks a BI Manager to lead a Finance BI team responsible for reporting, analytics, and automation across the organization. You will set development standards, govern semantic models, and ensure the reliability of the Finance BI portfolio.

The role partners with Finance leadership to translate priorities into a coordinated roadmap, overseeing Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate deliverables. You will mentor team members and drive best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, required.
• Five or more years in Data Analytics, BI or Application Development.
• Two or more years leading a technical team.
• Experience with Finance data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex Power BI, SQL, and data modeling issues.
• Own and evolve Finance BI architecture, semantic model design standards, and data governance practices.
• Translate strategic priorities into a prioritized team roadmap and resourcing plan.
• Review and approve Power BI reports and data transformations for quality and consistency.
• Ensure up-to-date training for end-users of reports and dashboards.
