Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a BI Manager to lead a team of Finance BI developers and analysts responsible for designing, building, and governing reporting, analytics, and automation solutions across Finance and business-wide decision making.

You will set development standards, semantic model architecture, and governance practices, overseeing Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate deliverables while ensuring quality, security, and reliability of the Finance BI portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five or more years in Data Analytics, BI or related field required.
• Experience leading or managing a technical team required.
• Experience with Finance data preferred.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills; experience with Power BI governance and data security a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts.
• Serves as escalation point for complex Power BI, SQL, data modeling issues.
• Owns Finance BI architecture, standards, and governance across the team.
• Translate strategic priorities into a prioritized team roadmap and staffing plan.
• Review and approve Power BI reports, data models, and transformations before deployment.
• Ensure end-users have up-to-date training and maintain documentation.
