Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a BI Manager to lead a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts, shaping the reporting, analytics, and automation portfolio for Finance and the business. You will establish development standards, semantic model architecture, and governance, while collaborating with Finance leadership to turn priorities into a coordinated roadmap.

You will oversee Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate deliverables, ensuring quality, security, and reliability across the Finance BI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, required.
Five or more years of experience within Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Application Development, required.
Two or more years of experience leading or managing a technical team, required.
Experience working with Finance data, preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads, manages, and develops a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts, including performance management, coaching, and career development.
Serves as the primary escalation point for complex Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate issues that exceed the scope of individual developers.
Owns and evolves Finance BI architecture, semantic model design standards, data governance practices, and development guidelines across the team.
Partners with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into a prioritized team roadmap and resourcing plan.
Reviews and approves Power BI reports, semantic models, DAX measures, data transformations, and documentation before deployment to ensure quality and consistency.
