Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a BI Manager to lead a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts responsible for designing, building, and governing reporting, analytics, and automation solutions that support Finance and business-wide decision making.

You will set development standards, oversee Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate deliverables, ensure data security and reliability, and partner with Finance leadership to translate priorities into a coordinated team roadmap.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, required.
5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Application Development, required.
2+ years of experience leading or managing a technical team, required.
Experience working with Finance data, preferred.
Strong SQL skills and data modeling / semantic modeling experience.

Responsibilities

Leads, manages, and develops a team of Finance BI Developers and Analysts.
Serves as the primary escalation point for complex Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and Power Automate issues.
Owns and evolves Finance BI architecture, semantic model standards, data governance, and development guidelines.
Translates strategic priorities into a prioritized team roadmap and resourcing plan.
Reviews and approves Power BI reports and data transformations before deployment.
