Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is working with a nationally recognized Am Law firm to recruit a Finance Associate Attorney for its Chicago office. This role focuses on sophisticated financing transactions, complex deal structures, and representing lenders, borrowers, and sponsors.

The ideal candidate will have experience in banking and finance, drafting and negotiating credit and security documents, and managing multiple transactions with deal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking and finance, commercial lending, or leveraged finance transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, guarantees, and other financing documentation.
• Familiarity with secured lending, acquisition financing, syndicated lending, or asset-based lending.
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, financial institutions, or private equity sponsors.
• Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions and collaborate effectively with clients and deal teams.
