Job summary

Interlink Talent Solutions is recruiting for a mid-to-senior Finance Associate to join our client’s Global Finance Practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of substantive finance experience and a track record advising on sophisticated transactions within a large law firm.

You will represent clients on syndicated and club deals, work with banks and sponsors on acquisition financings, draft and negotiate credit agreements, and collaborate across offices to manage

• Three+ years of substantive finance experience at a large law firm.
• Experience in syndicated and club transactions, with exposure to private credit sponsor acquisitions.
• Structured finance, CLOs, and fund finance experience is a plus.
• Proven track record on cash flow lending and complex finance transactions.
• Illinois Bar admission is required.

• Work with both bank and non-bank financial institutions, private credit funds, and sponsors on acquisition financings and other leveraged finance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and related transaction materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice areas to manage cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals.
• Support clients with structured finance, CLO, and fund finance transactions as opportunities arise.
• Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of substantive finance experience at a large law firm.
• Demonstrated experience in syndicated and club transactions, with particular exposure to private credit sponsor acquisition financings.
• Experience in structured finance, CLOs, and fund finance is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of working on cash flow lending and other complex finance transactions.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar required.
