Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Corporate Finance Associate Attorney for a leading AmLaw 50 firm in Chicago. The role focuses on sophisticated debt finance, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and other complex corporate financing transactions for corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, lenders, and financial institutions.

Ideal candidates will have 2–6 years of corporate finance experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and will hold a J.D.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of corporate finance or related transactional experience.
• Experience with acquisition and leveraged financings, secured and unsecured facilities.
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, or financial institutions.
• Drafting and negotiating credit, security, guaranties and intercreditor agreements.
• Diligence and coordination of financing transactions from inception through closing.

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Corporate Finance Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney interested in sophisticated debt finance, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and other complex corporate financing transactions for leading companies, private equity sponsors, borrowers, lenders, and financial institutions.

Ideal Background

• 2–6 years of corporate finance, debt finance, or related transactional experience
• Experience with acquisition financings, leveraged financings, secured and unsecured credit facilities, and other sophisticated lending transactions
• Experience representing borrowers, private equity sponsors, lenders, financial institutions, or other corporate clients
• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, guaranties, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers, and related financing documents
• Experience conducting due diligence and coordinating complex financing transactions from inception through closing
• Experience supporting M&A and private equity transactions from a financing perspective is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
