Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to assist with accounting and finance tasks on a major project portfolio. The role focuses on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance. You’ll contribute to month-end close and financial reporting for project management.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting and are willing to relocate and learn from experienced teams within the Power Market district.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree.
• Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship for employment to begin or continue employment with our company.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country

Responsibilities

• Support project accounting and finance related tasks.
• Assist with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and HR processes.
• Participate in month-end close and prepare financial reporting for project management.
• Contribute to cost and revenue tracking for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts.
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
• Collaborate with Operations team to learn and improve project financial processes.
• Maintain organized records and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
