Job summary

The role focuses on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance, with involvement in month-end close and financial reporting.

Base compensation ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, with travel up to 50%. The internship operates within the Power Market district across the United States, Canada and Mexico,

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere in the country.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Travel up to 50% may be required for this internship.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of teamwork and supports project needs.
• Fosters relationships with the Operations team and learns project work flows.
• Understands payroll and HR process workflows and uses systems to hire, transfer, terminate, and pay employees.
• Comprehends purchasing, invoicing, and internal controls in the workflow.
