Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Internship to support project accounting and reporting. You will participate in cost control, payroll, A/P/A/R, and compliance activities while contributing to month-end close and financial reporting packages for projects across the United States.

The internship requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, with a GPA of 3.0+, strong Excel skills, and willingness to relocate nationwide for assignment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Management.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country for this internship.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports project accounting and finance related tasks.
• Assists with month end close and prepares financial reporting packages.
• Learns payroll, accounts payable/receivable, cost control, and compliance processes.
• Maintains purchasing workflow and internal controls.
• Supports accuracy in accounts payable and billing documentation.
• Assists with intercompany and client billing workflows and cash impact.
• Monitors cost and revenue recognition and budgeting reports.
• Demonstrates customer service and teamwork; maintains organized work habits.
