Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to support accounting and finance tasks on major projects. The role includes cost control, payroll, and AP/AR, with involvement in month-end close and financial reporting for project management.

The position offers exposure to heavy civil construction finance across multiple regions, with opportunities for learning advanced cost and revenue tracking and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Business Management.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere in the country and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and budgeting processes.
• Support month-end close and prepare financial reports for project management.
• Learn and apply purchasing workflows, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Help with forecast and budget reviews to ensure accurate reporting for management.
