Job summary

Kiewit Corporation offers a Finance Analyst Intern role focused on supporting project accounting and finance functions. You will handle cost control, payroll, AP/AR, and compliance as part of the month-end close and financial reporting process.

The position provides exposure to a large-scale construction portfolio across the Eastern District, with mentorship, hands-on experience, and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or an equivalent degree.
• Relocation nationwide may be required and travel up to 50% is possible.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and lookup functions are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable and month-end close activities.
• Assist with preparing a financial reporting package for project management.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Maintain purchasing workflow controls and cost reporting accuracy.
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
