Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Internship to support a project in accounting and finance functions. This role operates like a small business with responsibilities in cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance. You may relocate anywhere in the country for the internship.

The internship provides month-end close support and helps prepare a financial reporting package for project management, with opportunities across the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Management.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country for this internship.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of being a team player by adapting to project needs.
• Supports payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cost control processes.
• Assists with month-end close and prepares financial reporting packages.
• Learns the various cost and revenue components across labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts.
