Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to support project accounting and finance tasks. The role focuses on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and human capital management, contributing to monthly close and financial reporting for project management.

Projects span the US and are managed like small businesses. This internship offers exposure to budgeting, compliance, and cost/revenue components in a large construction environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, business management, or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work without sponsorship.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance processes.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting packaging for project management.
• Learn and execute processes for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontract cost/revenue components.
• Ensure accurate cost reporting and maintain internal controls in purchasing workflows.
