Job summary

Altius Talent partners with an international logistics organisation to recruit a Finance Administrator for its US operation in Gardena, California. The role covers day-to-day Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, banking, reconciliations, reporting and month-end support.

You will work closely with internal teams, customers and suppliers to ensure accurate financial processing and strong control over cash flow, with exposure to a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices.
• Allocate customer payments and receipts.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments.
• Complete debtor, creditor and daily bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and upload payment batches.
• Monitor bank balances and receipts; address failed payments.
• Maintain accurate customer, supplier and financial records.
• Support cash-flow forecasting and financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes.
• Prepare aged debtor and creditor reports.
• Resolve customer, supplier and account queries.
• Provide general office and administrative support.

Finance Administrator - Freight Forwarding

Altius Talent is partnering with an international logistics organisation looking to appoint a Finance Administrator to support its US operation in Gardena, California.

This is a hands-on finance position covering day-to-day Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, banking, reconciliations, reporting and month-end support.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers and management, helping ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and that the business maintains strong control over receivables, payables and cash flow.

Responsibilities
