Position Overview

This role is best suited for an accounting professional with experience in transportation, logistics, freight, or other high-volume transactional environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general accounting principles, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting operational leaders, and helping drive the continued growth of the organization through sound accounting practices and financial analysis.

Target Background

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within transportation, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or other high-volume industries


• Experience working with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes


• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations


• Experience analyzing financial data and identifying discrepancies


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial reporting


• Experience working with ERP systems or accounting software


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Must-Have Qualifications
