Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Business Development Manager in Columbus, OH to drive growth in accounting and finance staffing solutions. You will build relationships with CFOs and senior leaders, prospect for new business, and partner with recruiters to deliver top finance professionals.

The role offers a true base salary with uncapped commission, support from an experienced team, cross-sell opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Occasional local travel is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful finance and accounting staffing, consulting, or solutions-sales experience.
• A demonstrated track record of developing new business and achieving sales or gross-margin goals.
• Established relationships within the local business community.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with financial leaders, including CFOs and other senior decision-makers.
• Generate new business through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, social media, and in-person meetings.
• Sell accounting and finance staffing, direct-hire, project, and consulting solutions within your local market.
• Identify client needs, secure new job orders, and manage opportunities from intake through fulfillment.
• Partner with recruiters to deliver high-quality finance and accounting professionals.
• Develop and maintain a focused target-account strategy and consistent sales pipeline.
• Expand existing relationships by cross-selling across capabilities.
• Collaborate across offices, practices, and markets to pursue opportunities for clients.
