Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks a Full-Desk Recruiter / Business Development professional to build a dedicated finance and accounting talent network while expanding client relationships in the Columbus, Ohio area. You will own the full direct-hire lifecycle, from prospecting to placement, working with CFOs and senior leaders.

The role offers base salary with uncapped commissions and a national platform, enabling you to grow a robust book of business and a specialized talent network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful full-desk recruiting, finance and accounting staffing, executive search, consulting, or solutions-sales experience.
• Established relationships within the local business or finance and accounting community.
• Strong prospecting, interviewing, negotiation, presentation, closing, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with financial leaders, including CFOs and senior decision-makers.
• Generate new business through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, social media, market intelligence, and in-person meetings.
• Sell finance and accounting direct-hire solutions within your local market.
• Identify client needs, secure new job orders, lead intake conversations, and establish clear search strategies.
• Source, engage, evaluate, and recruit finance and accounting professionals for direct-hire opportunities.
• Build and maintain pipelines of qualified clients and candidates within a focused market or specialty.
• Present qualified candidates with clear, accurate summaries of their experience, motivation, and fit for each opportunity.
• Manage client and candidate relationships throughout the hiring process, including interview coordination, feedback, offer negotiation, acceptance, and closing.
• Develop and maintain a focused target-account strategy and consistent sales pipeline.
• Expand existing relationships by introducing additional Vaco and Highspring capabilities where appropriate.
• Collaborate across offices, practices, and markets to pursue opportunities, share talent, and serve clients.
• Maintain accurate client, candidate, job, pipeline, and activity information in our ATS and CRM system.
• Achieve individual activity, placement, revenue, and gross-margin objectives.
