Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is hiring a Business Development Manager in Indianapolis to build a book of business in accounting and finance talent solutions. You will develop relationships with CFOs and senior leaders, drive new business, and collaborate with recruiters to deliver staffing and consulting options.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in finance/accounting staffing or solutions-sales, a proven track record of new business and achieving sales goals, and strong networking in the local business

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful finance and accounting staffing, consulting, or solutions-sales experience.
• Established relationships within the local business community.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with financial leaders, including CFOs and other senior decision-makers.
• Generate new business through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, social media, market intelligence, and in-person meetings.
• Sell accounting and finance staffing, direct-hire, project, and consulting solutions within your local market.
• Identify client needs, secure new job orders, and manage opportunities from intake through successful fulfillment.
• Partner closely with experienced recruiters to deliver high-quality finance and accounting professionals.
• Develop and maintain a focused target-account strategy and consistent sales pipeline.
• Expand existing relationships by introducing additional Vaco and Highspring capabilities where appropriate.
• Collaborate across offices, practices, and markets to pursue opportunities and serve clients.
• Maintain accurate client, pipeline, and activity information in our ATS and CRM system.
• Achieve individual activity, revenue, and gross-margin objectives.
