Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for Final Mile in Texas. The role oversees daily DC activities, supervises staff, manages schedules and labor, and ensures accurate inventory and safety compliance. You will train team members, drive process improvements, and prepare reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution center experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Experience with labor management systems.
• PC literate with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervises staff and directs work related to order fulfillment, inventory, stocking, and material handling.
• Prepares work schedules and adjusts for labor needs.
• Manages labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping system.
• Interviews and trains prospective and new team members.
• Ensures team understands and works toward performance goals.
• Recommends process improvements within the warehouse or distribution center.
• Reviews records for accuracy and stock level adequacy.
• Ensures compliance with policies and safety requirements.
• Schedules work for inventories and conducts periodic reviews.
• Traces item history to resolve stock discrepancies.
• Prepares leadership reports and maintains warehouse properties.
• Submits billing to customer services representatives.
