Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in warehouse/distribution center operations.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Experience with labor management systems.
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operation documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervises staff and directs order fulfillment, inventory, stocking, and material handling.
• Prepares work schedules and adjusts for labor needs.
• Manages labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping system.
• Interviews and trains new team members.
• Supervises staff development, performance appraisal and conflict resolution.
• Ensures adherence to performance goals and safety policies.
• Recommends process improvements within the warehouse.
• Reviews records for accuracy and stock levels.
• Ensures compliance with company and customer policies and ISO9002.
• Schedules special inventories and inventories accuracy checks.
• Assigns duties and checks for accuracy and policy conformance.
• Studies and standards procedures to boost efficiency.
• Prepares leadership reports and maintains warehouse facilities.
• Submits billing to customer services and supports distribution ops.
• Supervises employees in distribution center operations per policy and law.
