Job summary

GEODIS in Illinois is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily DC activities and lead a team in order fulfillment, inventory management, and labor planning.

The role requires 3–5 years in a warehouse setting with supervisory experience preferred and hands-on knowledge of warehouse equipment and WMS/LMS systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse or distribution center experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Experience with labor management systems.
• PC literate with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervises staff and directs work in order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling.
• Prepares work schedules and manages labor needs.
• Monitors labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping system.
• Interviews and trains new team members.
• Supervises staff development and performance reviews.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety, and ISO9002 procedures.
• Plans inventories and reconciles stock records.
• Suggests process improvements to improve efficiency.
• Prepares reports for leadership and maintains warehouse properties.
