Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Operations Manager Final Mile to lead daily operations for local and regional home delivery networks. The role includes fleet maintenance, reducing damages and missed windows, and tracking key metrics to optimize profitability.

Ideal candidates have WMS/Labor management experience, strong MS Office skills, and a proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally with customer service and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Lean certifications preferred.
• Must be PC literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and present information clearly.
• Ability to problem-solve across variable situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for local and regional big and bulky home delivery networks.
• Maintain a well-kept fleet and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Reduce damage, missed delivery windows, and return costs.
• Track KPIs like OTD, cost-per-stop, and revenue per truck.
• Ensure safe operation of warehouse and equipment and regulatory compliance.
