Job summary

Focus seeks a Final Mile Supervisor to oversee warehouse labor, coordinate tasks, and train associates to uphold high standards for loading, unloading, and inventory control. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient shipping/receiving.

Key duties include supervising tasks, ensuring correct labeling, and maintaining inventory integrity while supporting the Warehouse Manager and team during peak operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse supervisory/lead experience.
• Experience working with furniture preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Reliable attendance and attention to detail.
• Forklift certification/experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse labor activities to assure high production.
• Provide training to new warehouse associates to Metropolitan's standards and quality guidelines.
• Accurately check and ensure labeling is correct.
• Follow all paperwork processes through completion.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory and address aging orders.
• Ensure all warehouse associates follow scan discipline.
• Provide quality control and training for repackaging per Metropolitan's standards.
• Follow directions from Warehouse or Hub Manager and assist with day-to-day operations.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Assist with start/end of day tasks and cover for manager when absent.
• All other duties as assigned.
