Job summary

Werner Enterprises seeks a seasoned logistics operations leader to guide delivery and warehouse activities across the United States. You will align operations with client goals, monitor the full fulfillment cycle, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading teams, analyzing reports, developing staff, and managing up to 9+ White Glove Delivery Units daily while maintaining KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years effective in managing / home delivery / 3PL (third-party logistics) and P&L's
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, technology, order fulfillment to retail, transportation, and supply chain management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organizational and planning skills including problem solving with a team
• Experience in direct customer interaction role with team management to meet client expectations
• Proven leadership ability; ability to mentor and lead a team
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• 2-3 years in warehouse management, distribution, and inventory control, preferably big box consumer goods or last-mile (3PL)
• Proven track record of successful warehouse management for large clients with multi-year agreements
• Manage up to 9+ White Glove Delivery Units per day / contracted teams

Responsibilities

• Support strategic direction to align activities with client goals
• Monitor fulfillment cycle to meet client requirements including transportation and inspections
• Ensure safe work environment per OSHA and regulations
• Enforce government regulations related to warehouse and transportation operations
• Support maintenance activity policies and procedures
• Foster a team-oriented culture
• Review activity and forecasts to determine needed modifications
• Direct use of KPI reporting and team development
• Develop personal development plans to meet client needs
