Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a White Glove Residential Delivery Manager to lead a team of contracted home delivery teams and internal staff in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will oversee transportation, warehouse operations, and final mile activities to ensure a superior customer experience and strong client partnership.

The role requires steering a multi-disciplinary team, enforcing safety and regulatory compliance, and delivering against service levels.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team-management experience in a high-volume delivery environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external partners.
• Proven ability to organize, plan, and resolve problems with data-driven decisions.
• Experience interacting with customers and managing delivery teams to meet client expectations.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and KPI tracking.
• Experience overseeing warehouse/distribution operations and P&L responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Align delivery operations with client goals and expectations.
• Monitor the full fulfillment cycle including transportation, receiving, and quality inspections.
• Ensure OSHA and safety regulations are followed in warehouse and transport operations.
• Enforce government regulations related to warehouse and transportation activities.
• Lead and develop direct reports and contracted delivery partners.
• Provide KPI reporting and operations analysis to senior management.
• Manage a network of delivery units and 3PL partners to meet service levels.
