Job summary

C&G Enterprises LLC is seeking an experienced Dispatch Supervisor to support a fast-paced final-mile appliance delivery and installation operation in Nashville, Tennessee. You will oversee daily dispatch, route readiness, driver check-in, load-out, and route completion.

The role demands calm leadership under pressure, clear communication with drivers, warehouse staff, carriers, and leadership, plus strong accountability and rapid problem resolution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in dispatch, transportation, logistics, warehouse, delivery, or field-service preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Experience in appliance delivery, installation, final-mile delivery, or home services is a plus.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch, route readiness, driver check-in, load-out, and route completion.
• Confirm routes are properly assigned and teams have information and equipment needed.
• Monitor routes throughout the day, including progress, delays, and completion status.
• Communicate proactively with delivery teams, warehouse personnel, carriers, and leadership.
• Respond to driver questions, customer escalations, missed windows, and service exceptions.
• Ensure customers are contacted promptly when delays may affect delivery.
• Supervise and provide daily direction to dispatch and operations staff.
• Train, coach, and hold employees accountable for communication, attendance, documentation, and performance.
• Track daily performance indicators and document issues and corrective actions.
• Assist with route planning, audits, staffing adjustments, and operational coverage.
• Coordinate solutions when a delivery team is delayed or unavailable.
• Support carrier performance management with leadership.
• Maintain shift notes and complete operational handoffs.
