Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor- Final Mile to lead dispatch and warehouse operations at our Hebron, KY site. You will manage a team of dispatchers, coordinate with independent contractors, and ensure timely trucking, routing, and delivery execution.

You will oversee daily stand-ups, enforce safety and service standards, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in final mile, warehouse, or distribution center operations.
• Experience in a lead/dispatcher role or supervisory duties is preferred.
• Experience working with independent contractors or third-party carriers is preferred.
• Experience with routing or delivery management software (e.g., DispatchTrack) is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage the dispatcher team and oversee daily dispatch operations.
• Lead and supervise staff, with input on hiring, training, and performance decisions.
• Manage daily loadouts, staging freight, and ensuring on-time truck dispatch.
• Coordinate with independent contractors and drivers on routes and service expectations.
• Monitor delivery operations, track routes, and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in the delivery management system and ensure documentation.
• Step in for operations leadership to maintain dock, dispatch, and customer service.
• Enforce company policies on safety, uniforms, and service standards.
• Identify process improvements and communicate opportunities to management.
• May oversee inbound and outbound warehouse operations when required.
