Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. in the United States seeks a Delivery Operations Manager to lead a team of contracted home delivery partners and internal staff.

You will oversee transportation, warehouse activities and client relations to ensure a seamless fulfillment process and exceptional service. Responsibilities include aligning activities with client goals, monitoring the complete delivery cycle, enforcing safety and regulatory compliance, and driving KPI reporting while developing direct reports

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of managing home delivery teams/3PL with P&L responsibilities.
• 2-3 years warehouse management, distribution and inventory control.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership.
• Experience with large client accounts and multi-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic direction to align activities with client goals.
• Measure and monitor the complete fulfillment cycle to meet requirements.
• Ensure a safe work environment and equipment operation per OSHA and regs.
• Support enforcement of government regulations for warehousing and transport.
• Support maintenance policies and procedures.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
• Consult with senior management and analyze reports for modifications.
• Support direction, coordination, motivation and evaluation of direct reports.
• Establish a plan for personal development aligned with client needs.
• Effectively manage KPI reporting.
