Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Final Configuration Technician in Lebanon, TN to perform final assembly configuration and inspection of custom mobility products. You will work on power wheelchairs, install drive devices and accessories, and verify configurations meet specifications.

We require 2+ years in mechanical repair, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. The role is full-time with first shift and potential overtime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience directly related to the duties.

Responsibilities

• Be open to rotating to a different job station daily.

Pay Range: $20.00 – $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)

Your Role in Our Mission

Perform final assembly configuration, and inspection of custom complex mobility products

Directly involved in the final assembly of power wheel chairs, Installation of drive devices
and accessories. Review work orders and chair configurations to ensure work is performed
according to specifications.

Use basic hand tools and battery gun to assemble product.

Assembles each wheelchair according to individual specifications, production schedule, and
standards of quality. Each chair is unique so assembly duties are non-routine.

Ability to multi-task and handle varity in production of product.Open to rotating to a different
job station daily.

Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership

Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency

What You’ll Bring

Two or more years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Best experience is gained from work related to mechanical equipment repair.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Must have mechanical aptitude, experience with common hand tools.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Must have basic computer skills.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $20.00 – $20.00 per hour . Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
