Job summary

Permobil seeks a Final Configuration Technician in Lebanon, TN for 1st shift. Pay is $20.00 per hour. This full-time role involves final assembly configuration and inspection of custom mobility products, with potential cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement opportunities.

You will review orders, assemble wheelchairs with drive devices and accessories, and handle varied, non‑routine tasks across stations. Lift up to 30 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience directly related to duties and responsibilities.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have mechanical aptitude, experience with common hand tools.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Permobil has a position open for a Final Configuration Technician.

• Pay Range: $20.00 – $20.00 per hour
• Shift: 1st Shift
• Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm (Overtime as needed)
• Location: Lebanon

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly configuration, and inspection of custom complex mobility products.
• Directly involved in the final assembly of power wheel chairs, installation of drive devices and accessories. Review work orders and chair configurations to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
• Use basic hand tools and battery gun to assemble product.
• Assemble each wheelchair according to individual specifications, production schedule, and standards of quality. Each chair is unique so assembly duties are non‑routine.
• Ability to multi‑task and handle variety in production of product. Open to rotating to a different job station daily.
• Highlight cross‑functional collaboration and ownership.
• Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $20.00 – $20.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
