Job summary

Permobil, Inc. is seeking a Final Configuration Technician in Lebanon, TN. The role involves performing final assembly configuration and inspection of custom mobility products, including power wheelchairs, using basic hand tools and a battery gun.

• Two or more years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Best experience is gained from work related to mechanical equipment repair.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have mechanical aptitude, experience with common hand tools.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly configuration, and inspection of custom complex mobility products.
• Directly involved in the final assembly of power wheel chairs, Installation of drive devices and accessories. Review work orders and chair configurations to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
• Use basic hand tools and battery gun to assemble product.
• Assembles each wheelchair according to individual specifications, production schedule, and standards of quality. Each chair is unique so assembly duties are non-routine.
• Ability to multi-task and handle varity in production of product. Open to rotating to a different job station daily.

• Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Shift: 1st Shift

• Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $20.00 - $20.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
