Job summary

Permobil is hiring an Assembler in Lebanon, TN for 1st shift. You’ll assemble electric wheelchairs and related materials in a fast-paced production unit, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. Overtime may be required to meet daily goals.

• High school degree, preferably technical/mechanical.
• Practical and theoretical assembly, drawing and practicality, as well as basic computer skills
• Basic experience in assembly
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Must have the ability to work overtime hours
• Strong problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• To assemble electric wheelchairs and materials.
• Work with assembly and improvement work in our production unit, where a significant part is that we meet our daily goals with the priority of Safety. Quality. Supplies. Cost. The work takes place in different positions within the team.
• To ensure that it is assembled according to current instructions and that always assembly is done in the safest, easiest and most efficient way decided. This with an effort to contribute to the goals that are set are achieved daily.
• Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership.
• Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour . Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
