Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Maintenance Skilled Technician to support ROHO equipment with preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs. The role requires working the evening shift from 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a full-time basis, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining machinery, managing equipment records, installing parts, and upholding safety and quality standards while collaborating across teams and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3–5 years related experience, or equivalent.
• PLC and HMI skills are a plus; strong problem solving ability.
• Good communication, reasoning and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ROHO equipment with preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure operation of machinery by inspecting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain equipment database with records of work and failures.
• Install functional/structural parts on devices or equipment.

Evening Shift Schedule: 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday (ending Friday morning)

Your Role in Our Mission

Maintainsall ROHO equipment by performing preventative maintenance on equipment,inspecting and repairing all equipment, and assisting with any other specialprojects.

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by: Observingall equipment to assure proper operation of all systems and find possiblefailures; repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment suchas pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machines andequipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools andprecision-measuring instruments; performing preventive maintenance onequipment; repairing electrical equipment.

Manage equipment database by: Maintainingwritten records for every piece of equipment; logging work done and failuresin order to establish a predictive maintenance program.

Adjusts parts of devices and control instruments by: Installingfunctional and structural parts on devices or equipment.

Maintains safe and clean workenvironment by: Operatingall machinery in a safe and efficient manner; reporting any safety hazards toassigned supervisor or safety manager; complying with all safety and qualitypolicies, practices and procedures.

Maintains quality service by: Keepingerror rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficientwork pace; meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity,accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.

Contributesto team effort by: Maintaininga good attendance record; accomplishing related results as needed.

Maintainstechnical knowledge by: Attending educationalworkshops, seminars, and conferences.

What You'll Bring

AssociatesDegree from college or technical school or 3 to 5 years direct relatedexperience or an equivalent combination.

Goodcommunication skills; mechanical aptitude; fabrication skills helpful; PLC andHMI skills helpful; good reasoning skills; good problem solving skills.

Manualdexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers, andperceives attributes of objects and materials.

Ability todefine problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws validconclusions. Ability to interpret anextensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram formand deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Abilityto read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenanceinstructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports andcorrespondence. Ability to speakeffectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technicaljournals, financial reports, and legal documents.

Proficientpersonal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routinedatabase, activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $28.00 - $32.00 per hour . Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
