Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Wheeling, IL is hiring a Machine Operator to produce and inspect Fin Tube components on a 3rd shift schedule (11pm–7am).

You will operate milling centers, monitor quality, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and support a team with timely production and accurate data entry. Responsibilities include setting up machines, inspecting in-process material, recording quality data, and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication.
• Able to keep a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Report incidents to supervisor.
• Suggest job-related improvements and cost-saving ideas.
• Perform related duties to meet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Fin Tube machines to meet precise tolerances.
• Inspect in-process material and report non-conforming items.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area with PPE and safety protocols.
• Record quality data and material usage for inventory control.
