Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate Fin Tube milling centers, inspect in-process material, and ensure conformance to drawings while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

You will record quality data, troubleshoot production issues, and work with a team lead to receive assignments. The job includes operating an overhead crane as needed and a 3rd shift schedule with a $2/hr differential.

Qualifications

• Good written and communication skills.
• Able to perform set-ups and quality troubleshooting as instructed to minimize impact to production flow.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Manufacturing experience with machine function and interface knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operation of Fin Tube machines to achieve milling operations per drawings.
• Inspect in-process material and report nonconformities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and use PPE.
• Record quality data and material usage using WFS.
