Job summary

Wieland Group is hiring a Machine Operator for the Wheeling, IL facility. The role focuses on operating Fin Tube milling centers, performing quality checks, and maintaining safety standards on a 3rd shift (11pm–7am) with a $21.00/hr pay rate plus a $2.00 shift differential.

On-site work with potential equipment operation including overhead crane. Responsibilities include setup, operation, quality checks, and data recording while adhering to environmental and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and work orders.
• Understanding of measurement math including decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Fin Tube machines to produce to drawings with tight tolerances.
• Inspect in-process material and report non-conforming items.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and ensure PPE compliance.
• Record quality data and material usage in the system.
