Wieland is hiring a Machine Operator to run Fin Tube milling centers, inspect products, and ensure quality during production. The role includes operating overhead cranes as needed, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with the shift supervisor for work assignments.

The position offers first-shift options, a base pay of $21.00 per hour, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement across a global copper manufacturing company.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is valued.
• Knowledge of CNC machining and basic measurement math is preferred.
• Ability to set up machines and troubleshoot quality issues to minimize production impact.
• Strong written and verbal communication is required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate Fin Tube machines to meet customer drawings and tolerances.
• Inspect in-process material and report nonconforming items.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and use PPE as required.
• Record quality data and material usage in the system to track inventory and production.

Conocimientos

Good written and communication skills

CNC machining experience

Understanding of measurement math

Ability to perform set-ups and quality

Team player

Educación

High school diploma or G.E.D. (preferred)
