Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run Fin Tube milling centers, inspect in-process material, and ensure safety and quality during production.

The role also involves operating an overhead crane when needed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Base pay is $21.00 per hour with two 1st shift hybrid options; final pay will reflect experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Able to set up and troubleshoot quality issues to minimize production impact.
• Experience with CNC machining is a plus.
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate Fin Tube machines to meet tolerances and customer drawings.
• Inspect in-process material and report nonconforming items.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure PPE compliance.
• Record quality data, scrap counts, and material usage using WFS.
