Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Wind Hub Technician to maintain and service wind turbines at Texas sites. You will handle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics, coordinating with site leadership and the remote operations center as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and wind technician experience, with the ability to lift 45 lbs and work on towers up to 300+ feet. It is an on-site position with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of wind technician or wind mechanic experience.
• Or 2 years of related work including hydraulic and electrical with basic power hydraulic tools and a knowledge assessment.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements and perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on GE wind turbine generators.
• Repair or replace parts to correct malfunctions and perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on variable pitch and variable speed turbines.
