Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Hub Technician to maintain and repair wind turbine equipment across Texas Hub 9 sites. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting to ensure uptime and safety.

You will work with site leadership to meet contractual obligations and support remote operations when required. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and endurance to climb towers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year+ experience as Wind Technician/Mechanic preferred.
• 2+ years with hydraulic/electrical experience and basic tools also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbine components on site.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Document work using service reporting software.
• Collaborate with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.
• Support remote operations center as needed.
