Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Technician to join the on-site team at multiple NM hubs. You will work with site and hub leadership to ensure contractual obligations are met, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot complex turbine systems.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with GE’s remote operations center. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year wind tech experience or related education, plus basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind technician/ mechanic experience, or completed Wind Certificate Program/Associates Degree in Energy, or 2 years of electrical work
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Execute contractual obligations and site activities with leadership.
• Maintain, repair or replace parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Support site operations with minimal supervision and safety first.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
