Job summary

Zoetis is seeking an Account Manager for the US Petcare Division based in the Boerne, TX area. This field-based role requires travel and some evening programs to advance sales through territory management and solution selling.

You will build client relationships with hospitals and veterinary personnel, develop territory business plans, launch new products, and meet sales quotas while leveraging analytics. Requires BS/BA and 3–10 years of consultative sales, animal health knowledge, strong MS

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
• 3–10 years of consultative sales experience.
• Animal Health experience and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Self-starter, able to work independently.
• Uses analytics to enhance decision-making and execution.
• Ability to manage assigned expense budgets.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Meet overall sales objectives (quota) within targeted geography.
• Launch new products and generate leads for equipment.
• Build and demonstrate Solution Selling capabilities and veterinary expertise.
• Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan / resource allocation to maximize ROI.
• Meet field activity expectations including sales calls and medical education investments.
• Develop a call-cycle at account and veterinarian levels to meet reach/frequency targets.
• Collaborate with Zoetis Petcare colleagues with integrity, teamwork, and professionalism.
