Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector to join our growing team. You will inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease, identifying damage and mechanical issues, and preparing condition reports.

You will work with Territory Managers and other Inspectors, travel to locations, and help the sales team by documenting conditions and listing vehicles on the ACV platform.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease for damage and issues.
• Prepare reports of vehicle condition and repair estimates.
• Assist sales team with upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
• Communicate with dealers to ensure client satisfaction and relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write condition reports.
• Capture and upload vehicle photos to the image server.
