Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector with a passion for cars to join our growing team. Inspectors are the face of ACV Auctions, ensuring trust and excellent customer service while detailing vehicle conditions for clients.

In this role, you will inspect vehicles, prepare condition reports, and collaborate with dealers to maintain strong relationships. Travel to dealerships and write comprehensive reports using company tools will be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Willingness to travel to dealerships and inspect vehicles.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease locations to detect damage and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition and repair cost estimates.
• Assist sales team with up-selling or cross-selling services.
• Build and maintain relationships with dealers and ensure client satisfaction.
• Travel to various locations to conduct inspections and document findings.
• Capture comprehensive photos and list vehicles for auction on the platform.
