Job summary

ACV Auctions in Connecticut is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector to join our growing team. Inspectors are the face of our company, evaluating vehicles, communicating with dealers, and documenting condition reports.

This is field work and requires attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves traveling to dealerships and completing accurate condition reports, with a focus on trust, transparency, and customer service.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Actively support the customer experience and field inquiries.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and submit a condition report with repair/replacement estimates and documentation.
• Help sales with up-selling or cross-selling services and products.
• Interface with dealers to ensure client satisfaction and build relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write reports.
