Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector with a passion for cars to join our growing team in Danvers, MA. Inspectors are the face of ACV Auctions, responsible for identifying vehicle issues and communicating clearly with clients to ensure a trusted platform.

You will inspect vehicles at dealerships and auctions, document conditions, and collaborate with Territory Managers to deliver accurate reports and pricing estimates. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in automobile field (body, paint or mechanical) with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work outdoors in the elements for extended periods.
• Strong problem solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and issues.
• Prepare and submit reports of vehicle condition and repair/replacement cost estimates.
• Help sales team with up-selling or cross-selling services and products.
• Build and maintain relationships with dealers to ensure client satisfaction.
